Palpitation Tea Blend

20 (1-CUP) SERVINGS

These herbs are pleasant in a tea, and the act of stopping and taking time for a cup of tea is conducive to pulling back to a more centered and grounded place. This tea is equal parts of the three herbs. If it would be easier to comply with taking a tincture, just use that proportion to create a tincture. Either preparation is equally effective.

¼ cup hawthorn berries, leaves, and flowers

2 tablespoons oatstraw

2 tablespoons milky oats

¼ cup ginkgo

1 . In a small bowl, combine the hawthorn, oatstraw and milky oats, and ginkgo.

2 . Transfer the tea blend to an airtight container. Label and date the blend.

3 . To use, add 1 rounded teaspoon to an infuser and place in a 10-ounce mug.

4 . Cover with just-boiled water and steep for 5 to 7 minutes. Remove the infuser.

5 . Drink 1 to 2 cups per day.

6 . Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. This will keep for a year.
